We get it! It might sound counterintuitive to pay for a savings app, but paying a dollar per month is actually better for you. We have three reasons for why we believe this:
1. Consistency: We all have a lot of apps on our phones. Committing to save more isn't easy. If you're not invested, it's easier to forget about it, or just give up when saving gets tough.
2. Sustainability: Besides paying our team fair wages, we also partner with bank-level third party services to make sure the entire Peak experience works like magic and is incredibly secure. But, those service have monthly costs. So, in order to keep Peak going and keep you secure, we need a way to make money.
3. Transparency: If you're not paying for a product...then you are the product. Free apps are cool, but every company has to make money. Ads generally won't cover the cost of most companies, which is why so many organizations have resorted to selling user data. We want to assure you that we do not sell your data, so we want you to know how we're making our money.
