Unfortunately, we (and Plaid) lose connection to your bank from time to time. When Peak loses connection to your bank, most services will still function as normal. You will still be able to deposit and withdraw funds, transfer money between your peaks, edit your peaks, and your Scheduled Saves will follow their same schedule.
However, there are some features that may not function properly while a connection is down:
- Your Round-ups will not accrue, and
- If you are a Premium member, your Spending Insights and "When I Save" or "When I Spend" Actions will not update.
This means Peak will not be able to automatically cancel Round-ups or Scheduled Saves to prevent an overdraft.
In most cases, you will be able to reconnect within a few seconds using the prompt within Peak.
Some situations require a little extra assistance, so if you have recently made changes to your funding source or if you are experiencing trouble reconnecting, contact Customer Success via the Help center in the app or by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
